No installer, no account wall, no waiting around for a progress bar to finish. You open the tab and you're already picking a name for your worm. That instant-access setup matters more than people give it credit for, because half the fun of these browser slither games is jumping in for "just one round" during a lunch break and somehow losing twenty minutes. Since it runs straight in the browser, it doesn't matter if you're on a beat-up laptop or a decent gaming rig, the glowing orbs load up just the same either way.
How To Play
- Type in a name before you drop into the arena, then pick a color scheme for your worm if you're feeling fussy about looks.
- Steer with your mouse (or a finger, on touchscreens) — the worm follows the cursor, nothing fancier than that.
- Hold the left mouse button to burst forward when you need a sudden dash, though it costs you a bit of length.
- Swallow the glowing balls scattered across the map to bulk up your worm bit by bit.
- Steer clear of other worms' bodies — one touch and you burst into particles, feeding whoever's nearby.
Winning Strategies
- Stay near the edges early on, since the middle of the map turns into a feeding frenzy fast and small worms get swallowed up before they know what happened.
- Coil around smaller players to box them in — cutting off their escape route is way more reliable than chasing head-on.
- Save that speed boost for real emergencies, not just because it's tempting to zoom around when there's nothing worth chasing.
- Watch the head of rival worms more than the tail; that's where the danger actually comes from.
- Keep some distance from the biggest snakes on the board — tempting as it is to test your luck, patience usually outlives greed here.
- Circle back toward fresh clusters of orbs after a kill happens nearby, since a burst worm leaves behind a jackpot of glowing particles.
